In this short essay, I will writ about three places I’d like to visit in my country, Japan. Okinawa Okinawa is the southern islands in Japan. Since it is far from main islands of Japan, it has a bit different history, culture and language. Added to that, after world war two, the US occupied Okinawa until 1970, The US influence to Okinawa is also big. These elements made Okinawa a unique place. Okinawa people love singing and dancing so a lot of popular singers came from Okinawa. I’d like to enjoy tasty food, music and beautiful ocean there. Fukuoka Fukuoka is located in south west Japan. It is a hub city on Kyushu island. Population of it is 1,5 million. The city is close to the ocean. The balance between the nature and urban area is almost perfect in Fukuoka. And development took place later than metropolis area like Tokyo. Buildings, high ways, subways and underground shopping arcade are relatively new. And it has good access to its airport. It takes only 15 minutes from the airport to downtown. I’d like to see beautiful scenery there and have a relaxing time. Kyoto Since Kyoto used to be a capital of Japan, it preserves old Japanese town atmosphere. There are a lot of Shintoism shrines and Buddhism temples there. They are nice tourist spots nowadays. It is one of the most popular towns for tourism. A lot of foreign tourists are also visiting Kyoto to feel traditional Japanese atmosphere. I’ like to enjoy tasty food and visit some famous temples and shrines there.
