Giant meteor.

The other day, after I enjoyed a clear sunny Indian summer day,

I was driving right before the sunset when the blue sky turned to be an orange color. The road was a bit jammed up so my car was stopped by the traffic jam. At that moment, I saw a moon-sized fireball fall in the sky. I was surprised at it and worried about the object. It could have been a plane or the sight reminded me of the meteor that hit Siberia last year. After that I didn’t hear any loud noise nor feel earth rumbling but I checked the information on Twitter. Some people tweeted about the object and said it seems like a meteor.

After I got home I saw a video about it on Youtube, BBC and ABC news. It was widely seen in this area on that day.

Nowadays, micro media like Twitter is pretty useful for checking information like this because it is quicker than mass media coverage. However, I didn’t expect the news to be covered by foreign media. The internet is pretty useful to check foreign media too.
