Paul McCartney's Concert Review.

One of my favorite concerts I ‘ve ever seen is Paul McCartney’s gig last November. He played 37 songs in almost 3 hours. Thinking about/Considering his age, this is amazing! He covers not only a lot of hit songs but also the songs he has never played on a stage before. For example, he sang Lovely Rita and Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite, which Paul sang instead of John Lennon. That could be one of the climaxes of this concert tour. Since Paul is a long time hit maker, he couldn’t play some hit songs in this tour, but the DJ played these hit songs as an remix before the concert started. And Paul’s childhood picture with his mother, The Beatles pictures, Wings pictures and oil paintings that Paul drew were projected on the four big screens around the stage while the DJ was playing. After that, when the screens projected his trademark Hofner Bass, the show began. In this tour Paul spoke more Japanese, including our local dialect, than the gig from 20 years ago. Probably half of his comments were spoken in Japanese. Furthermore, Japanese subtitles were available on screen. Therefore, all of the audience could understand what he said onstage. For example, Black Bird was written for the support of civil rights movement and George was a good ukulele player. He dedicated Something to George playing ukulele. Actually, I could understand what he said because of this all audience could understand this important message from him. When he said his new album won No.1 in Japanese hit chart. I quickly shouted “congratulations!” Although my sheet were far from the stage, my voice seems loud enough to reach to the stage, he replied “Thank you” . That was my personal climax of this concerts. Anyway, he endures such a long time concerts without drinking water and sang 37 songs in original key and kept shouting until the ending song The End I totally amazed not only his talent but his physical strength.
